We were about 4 rows of stacked cases deep, so I immediately started flipping top-stacked cases off and onto the floor. With a crew at the front of the mess, I climbed over the cases to find the open hole where the next strap (singular) was. We held it for about 7 minutes until more people arrived. We braced the load, and there was no way for any of us to move or reset a strap or bar. I popped the strap at the rear of the truck, and everything started moving at once. Half our hands were getting gear up the elevators, and I had four stagehands with me. Someone at our shop loaded as if we only needed four or five straps. I was loading in a show at the Encore in LV, and we had a full, double-stacked 52, and the dock was on an incline. I’ve been around the US and worked in every environment.
